Straight answers about verification, agents, and how we run TenantTruth.
You create an account and confirm your email address through our auth provider. Once verified, your reviews can show a Verified Tenant badge. We do not publish completely anonymous reviews — that helps keep the platform useful and harder to game.
No. Agents cannot delete tenant reviews simply because they disagree. If content breaks our terms (for example defamation, abuse, or evidence it is fake), you can report it via our contact page and we will investigate. Legitimate criticism stays visible.
Yes. Reading and writing reviews is free for tenants. We are building a sustainable model over time, but we do not charge renters to browse or post honest feedback.
We focus only on the rental journey, use structured ratings (deposit handling, response time, and more), and require email-verified accounts. That makes comparisons between agents more consistent than a single star score from anyone with a Google account.
Yes — you can review each letting agent once, based on your genuine experience as their tenant. That keeps ratings fair and prevents duplicate stacking.
You can add them to the directory from our site (subject to moderation checks). Once they appear, you can leave the first review to help others.
We want professional responses where appropriate. Please visit our For letting agents page and contact us — we will walk you through claiming or verifying your branch profile and the right way to engage with feedback.
No. We use your information to run the service (accounts, reviews, essential emails) as described in our Privacy policy. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.
